Timetable
BJJ & Submission Grappling
Structured classes focusing on gi and no-gi techniques, positional control, submissions, and rolling. Suitable for all levels.
BJJ – Kids
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tailored for younger students, with a focus on discipline, confidence, and body awareness.
BJJ – Open Mat
Unstructured mat time for drilling, rolling, or reviewing techniques at your own pace. All levels welcome.
Muay Thai Adults (16+)
Traditional striking art using fists, elbows, knees, and shins. Classes include pad work, technique drills, and conditioning. Suitable for all levels.
We also offer Muay Thai Kids (Ages 4–16)
Striking classes adapted for children, developing coordination, confidence, and discipline.

Every Friday | 18:00–19:00 PM
Step into a focused, confidence-building environment where women train hard, learn real Muay Thai technique, and leave feeling stronger every week. Each one-hour session blends striking fundamentals with conditioning and pad work, so you’ll improve fitness, coordination, and self-belief—whether it’s your first class or your fiftieth.
What to expect
Proper stance, footwork, and striking mechanics (jab, cross, hooks, elbows, kicks, knees)
Pad rounds and partner drills in a safe, respectful setting
Progressive conditioning that builds endurance and tone

FREE FORTNIGHTLY Safety Restraint Training - SaturdayS 13:45 – 14:45
Base Defence Gym is proud to offer free fortnightly Safety Restraint Training exclusively for Police Officers, Security Personnel, and Prison Officers.
This practical, hands-on session is designed to equip frontline professionals with the tools to stay safe and in control during high-pressure encounters. Training includes:
Safe, effective control and restraint techniques
Situational awareness and legal use of force
Team-based tactics for high-risk interventions
Emotional control under pressure – learn how to manage your response during aggressive verbal abuse and hostile situations
De-escalation strategies and maintaining professionalism under stress
Taught by experienced instructor Zayd in a supportive environment, this training helps reduce risk, improve confidence, and build real-world readiness.
